About me
Fern Green is a food stylist, writer, and experienced chef. She has over 15 years experience styling for magazines and works with various high-profile brands for editorial, packaging, advertising, social and video content. She also enjoys recipe testing and developement as well as writing food content across many platforms.

Fern works in London and Bath in the UK for most of the year. She does however have a kitchen in Central Italy in the region of Abruzzo. A very wild region full of national parks and fertile soils. It is here she loves to cook for others. She is the co-owner along with her husband of Fireflies & Figs. A luxury Yurt retreat near the Majella Mountains which is currently closed since lockdown.

Fern is an author, and has written several cookbooks with varying publishing houses in the UK, France, the US and Australia. She has a great love of breakfast, and wrote her first cookbook published in 2015 'Breakfast: Morning Noon and Night'.
Since then she has kept busy writing a health series for Marabout Publishing. With her nutritional background she enjoys researching healthy aspects of food and has written books covering many topics from 'Power Milks', 'Energy balls', 'Spirulina' and 'Turmeric'. Her most recent book came out in August 2023 called 'Eat more greens' with Hardie Grant where she writes about adding more plants into your diet with day to day simple tasty recipes.

She is now awaiting her new cookbook which is due out next April 2025 called 'Lunchwell' with Hardie Grant.
